Mind the Gap

Project Mind the Gap seeks to highlight the growing divide between the haves and the have-nots of this world. The proximity displayed by these two extremes, for the purpose of the photograph, is simply a sardonic comment on society.

The bags here were literally begged from the managers of the high end stores on Oxford Street, London. And beggars from the streets of Mumbai were brought home to face the camera..
